SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING PROGRAM
Getting Started
You will need:
Recording Credits. As a participant earns credit, the CLT office enters the information in a database and returns a credit card. When the graded texts, evaluations, and credit cards have been returned, the CLT coordinator should record the unit number(s) and dale(s). Each church is responsible for keeping this information on file. Request a time to present the credit cards to the participants in a public service.
Credit Validity. CLT credits are valid for a 1 O-year period. To determine credit validity, subtract 10 years from the current date. CLT credits taken before that date no longer apply to current programs.
Requesting Certificates. When a participant has completed the requirements for a certificate, the coordinator should fill out a CLT-22 Application for CLT Certificate form. Fill in the unit numbers and the date each course was completed under the certificate for which you are applying. If applying for a reading certificate fill out the Application for CLT Reading Certificate. Mail all completed certificate application forms to the CLT office.
